Wishing Fireflies, The Story of Ryusuke Part 1

A long time ago there was a young swordsman who traveled to a lake in the hope of catching some fish, by chance he met an older fisherman sitting by the lake. The swordsman sat down next to the old man. The old fisherman asked the swordsman, "Have you heard the story of the wishing fireflies?" the swordsman replied "No, i don't believe i have"

The swordsman was very interested to hear the story so he asked if he could hear it.
So the fisherman began to tell the tale to the swordsman......

The story began with a young man by the age of 21, who was a samurai and he wanted to become the most greatest samurai in Japan. The man's name was Ryusuke. He had just his dream to his best friend, Samosuke that he wanted this more than he could remember.

Just by a river he suddenly saw the most beautiful young woman, staring at him, she was wearing a bright azure kimono with small cherry blossoms on the rim. Ryusuke was curious of who she was so he asked Samosuke. Samosuke sighed in disappointment and raised his voice and said that he had already told him before that she was his sister, Yumi. Yumi was sitting down near the river praying. Ryusuke asked Samosuke what was she doing. Samosuke questioned Ryusuke if he has ever heard the story of the wishing fireflies.
Ryusuke shook his head.
Samosuke said "Apparently if you wish for what you want where this lake is, the fireflies will grant you your wish".
Ryusuke stood confused.
His best friend continued saying,
Yumi has come here for 2 months already, wishing that you would have the same feelings she has for you, and that she really desires to be with you.
Yumi didn't like the idea of Ryusuke being so far away from her, Yumi approached Ryusuke with clear tears on her face, clutching his kimono in fears of losing him.
However Ryusuke still ended up following his dreams in hoping of becoming the best samurai
in the world. Leaving his best friend and Yumi behind, he traveled alone.
