Wishing Fireflies, The Story of Ryusuke Part 6

Ryusuke's past was attacking his soul deeply, it was as if ghosts from the past were attacking his soul around and as if he was the only one in the entire world. His tears dripped down his cheeks and onto the damp soil as he walked back to his old village, maybe, just maybe, someone back in his village could give him hope to make him feel like there is purpose in his life.

A few hours later as he was treading hopelessly along he saw a clear sparkly lake with small fireflies hovering ontop of it. Ryusuke threw his katana into the water to forget his past and move on with his life.

Ryusuke glared across the distance and saw a familiar man in the distance walking towards him, Ryusuke questioned, "who is the man? i swear i know him" so he asked. The man replied "My name is Samosuke".

Ryusuke knew it!, he was almost overjoyed to see his face again, he just wanted to give him a hug, but just before he did, Samosuke questioned Ryusuke "Do you know the story about the wishing fireflies? My sister Yumi prayed here for 20 years for the love of her life to love her as she did for him, this is her anniversary of her death."

Ryusuke broke into tears beside the lake. He wiped the tears away and looked towards the river, and saw Yumi, more tears poured down as he ran towards her, "I'm so sorry!, I love you, I love you" He repeated to her. "Do not worry Ryusuke, I'm happy as you should be, I have got my wish, I will love you for eternity".

Present Time...

The fisherman sighed deeply in emotion when the young swordsman gave the fisherman comfort, because at that moment he knew who the fisherman was, Ryusuke.
